Build movement capacity grounded in trust.

What it means

Our fiscal sponsorship program was born organically from the needs of organizers, working to build power in their communities, who needed organizational infrastructure but did not meet the typical requirements for conventional fiscal sponsorship. Praxis believes that operational support and organizational infrastructure grounded in trusted relationships is a critical part of sustaining individual, organizational, and movement health.

In practice

All fiscally sponsored projects have the option of joining our Communities of Praxis, an intentional space where organizers can come together to develop relationships, participate in responsive trainings, and engage in peer-to-peer capacity building.  This includes Praxis Learning Circles, our annual Roots & Remedies convening, Relax with Praxis fellowship sessions, and other workshops, events, and resources. These are opportunities to share organizing strategies, align advocacy opportunities, and build deeper relationships across the movements for health, justice and racial equity.
