Defend Environmental Protections! Comment on the proposed changes to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)!
{{ FirstName | default: 'Friend' }}, submit your public comment against the proposed changes to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) before Tuesday, March 10th:
Background: The administration has proposed a new changes to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) that would ultimately undermine its purpose in attempts to speed up development on our public lands and waters. The proposed changes would exempt many federal actions such as projects affecting our public lands and waters to no longer be review and analyzed for environmental impacts under the law, while also restricting the public’s ability to provide input on federal decision making. Most troubling is the proposed change to allow agencies to no longer review their climate change impacts of their proposed actions.
Our climate crisis is a public health crisis. Submit your comment today against this proposal.
