Health Justice Intern, 2022
Pronouns: she/her
Timezone: Pacific
Victoria was raised near Seattle where she witnessed large amounts of unhoused people without access to basic healthcare rights driving her to join organizing spaces initially. She is especially passionate about the support of mental health, especially within carceral spaces, for unhoused peoples and for new mothers, and equitable access to healthcare for all after working at her university's free clinic. Victoria is a 2022 Health Justice Intern looking to use her background in climate and reproductive justice organizing to work on initiatives here at Praxis and continue to listen to and amplify the voices of communities historically silenced in the space. She is currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science at Stanford University and a minor in International Relations. In her spare time, Victoria greatly enjoys listening to music and attending concerts (especially r&b and indie), exploring the outdoors and perusing fashion brands for friends and family.
