RR2021 - Love, Liberation, & Rooted In Community

Praxis hosted our second virtual Roots and Remedies convening with a theme of Love and Liberation: Rooted in Community on Friday, July 9th on Zoom. At this virtual convening, we brought together community organizers from across the nation to center our organizing as healing, share and celebrate our wins, and envision the future we want to create. We'll also made a playlist, shared our favorite recipes, read our poetry, and connected over our art to remind us of each other, of love and liberation, and of the beautiful community that we have made with each other.

Virtual 2020 - Disaster Justice

From May through October 2020, the Praxis Project, along with Living Hope Wheelchair Association and Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, convened 44 basebuilding organizers to participate in a virtual, long-term Learning Circle over zoom, with a specific focus on discussing the principles of, tools for, needs, and opportunities within disaster justice.
